Transportation Costs Project
To be honest, this project didn't change the way I see math because I understand that math is everywhere. It allows us to do so many things. Perhaps this project did reinstate the notion that math is vital in our everyday lives, whether or not people appreciate this fact. Also, it was good practice for me since my major is physics and I will be spending a great deal of time solving real world math problems throughout my schooling, and into my eventual career.

Mortgage Project
This project did alter my perspective on purchasing a home. I had little to no idea how mortgages actually worked, especially how the interest on a loan goes down as payments towards the principal increase. I definitely am able to better understand how interest works outside of plugging in given formulas thanks to this project. And while I do love math, this project also makes me very glad that my major is physics and not accounting!
